Sinopsis

Both cars and gasoline are very cheap in the US. Only the most disadvantaged class is forced to take the bus. The passengers travel hoping to improve their job and social situation. In this huge country, distances are very long and, during the trip, there are few things the traveler can do: talk to other people in the bus, eat or sleep, if possible with those uncomfortable seats. For some hours in each trip, an extremely diverse microworld is created. In each of the many bus stops, new passengers get on it and other passengers get off the bus.

This documentary film goes in depth into this strange and ephemeral underworld to delve into the stories of its characters. It follows the passengers from the bus to a new stage of their lives and the turning point is the trip itself.
